Philosophy Audiobooks for Beginners

Disclaimer: Audiobooks are generally a poor format for doing philosophy. Difficult passages in philosophical works may need to be reread several times in order to be understood. This is a pain in the arse to do while listening to an audiobook. A general rule of thumb is that the more difficult the work of philosophy, the worse the listening experience. This page contains some easy works of philosophy in audiobook format. The links to free audiobook are from Librivox. Librivox uses public domain translations and are recorded by volunteers, I recommend checking the quality before downloading. The Audible audiobooks are professionally recorded but they require an audible subscription.
